Pre- & Post-Licensing

Pre-License Info

Pre-license coursework includes everything you need to know to pass the test the first time, plus the strategies you’ll need – like lead generation – to start your career as soon as you’re licensed.

Here’s what you need to qualify:

  • 18 years of age
  • Resident of the State of Georgia, unless seeking a non-resident license
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Complete a 75-hour Salesperson Pre-license course at an approved school
  • Pass the state real estate examination
  • Obtain a criminal history report from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI)
  • Per the Georgia Real Estate Commission – http://www.grec.state.ga.us/grec/resalesperson.html

Pre-License Courses

Post-License Info

Newly licensed salespersons must complete the 25-hour Salesperson Post-License course in their first year of licensure. The 25-hour post-licensing course also counts as 9 hours towards fulfulling the continuing education requirement. There is an exam at the end of the course that must be passed with a 75% and must be proctored.
